Important Concession Volunteer Info! posted June 28, 2009
Hello everyone,
Here is some needed info from Rebecca for anyone who does any form of concessions volunteering at home swim
meets......
To: BBQ, condiment, baked goods, potatoes & concession volunteers,
First of all, We would like a volunteer who could take home the dishes, wash them & bring them back at least one
day before the meet.
Baked Goods:
Please wrap each item so that it is ready to sell.
--as a side note, I would love the recipe for the molasses cookies that were brought last week.
Baked Potatoes:
Will be delivered and waiting the morning of the swim meet to the breeze way at the pool. It would be great if you
want to purchase your own just make sure they are huge. Each of you will be baking about 35. Please bring them
wrapped in foil and in a cooler so they stay warm.
Condiments:
Condiments and something to put them in will be at the pool around 3:00 the day of the meet. It will take 1/2 to 1
hour to slice & prep. We need everything back by 4:45.
Concessions workers:
1st shift: 4:45-7:00
2nd shift 7:00-close (including clean up)
Our goal is to be up and running by 4:45. If you are working 2nd shift please note the shift change is at 7:00. We
have 4 people for each shift. Two are cashiers and two are for food prep. Although we have gloves please be sure
to wash your hands on the way to the shack.
BBQ:
1st shift: 4:30-6:45
2nd shift: 6:45-close (including clean up)
Our goal is to be up and running by 4:45. Please wash your hands on the way to the grill. If you are working 1st
shift we need you to grill like a mad man because most of the sales are before 7:00.
If you have any other questions please e-mail or call me.
